Establish and lead the finance function for a newly created sustainable cocoa sourcing and export business.
Oversee accounting, taxation, audits, and financial control activities.
Ensure compliance with Cameroonian tax and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and deliver accurate financial and management reports.
Implement and maintain effective internal control systems.
Support business performance monitoring and decision-making.
Manage controls related to supplier financing, inventory, and export operations.
Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures.
Education
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, DEC, DESCF or equivalent.
Experience
Minimum of 8 years of finance experience.
At least 3 years in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role.
Experience in Cameroon or the CEMAC region.
Background in trading, agribusiness, commodities, export, or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of Cameroonian taxation and statutory reporting requirements.
Good understanding of OHADA/SYSCOHADA and IFRS standards.
Experience with company incorporation and regulatory compliance in Cameroon.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.
Knowledge of inventory control, procurement, and export operations.
Fluent in both English and French.
Experience in cocoa, coffee, or other agricultural commodity sectors.
Knowledge of sustainability certifications such as Rainforest Alliance or Fairtrade.
Familiarity with EUDR requirements.
Experience in trade finance and foreign exchange management.
Previous experience in audit firms or fast-growing organizations.
